The workflow has three stages: listen through for context, practice sentence by sentence, and revisit the lines you find difficult. Sentence looping, playback speed control, dictation, subtitles, and translations help you work through the details.
DuolinTing is open source and self-hostable. Its course-production workspace lets maintainers build lessons from media and subtitles they have the rights to use.
