I built DocMind AI because I kept getting burned by AI tools that invented things — fake numbers, made-up clauses, wrong dates — and I couldn't tell where the answers were coming from.
DocMind does three things differently:
1. It cites the page. When it answers a question, you get a clickable link to "Page 4" of your document.
2. It refuses to guess. Ask about something that's not in the doc, it says: "This information is not provided in the uploaded document." — instead of making up an answer.
3. It reads scanned documents. Photos of pages, old invoices, government forms — the OCR fallback handles them.
