DevShield.
AI engineer that detects, diagnoses & fixes software bugs.
I built DevShield because developers shouldn't spend hours hunting bugs. DevShield is an AI engineer that watches your app around the clock, catches problems early, explains what's wrong, tracks performance, and helps fix issues before users are affected. Plug in the SDK, connect your project, and let DevShield handle the debugging while you keep shipping.
Hi Product Hunt!
I'm excited to introduce DevShield.
The idea came from a frustration I've had for years: every bug tracking tool tells you what broke, but very few actually help fix it. Developers still spend hours digging through logs, reproducing issues, and searching for root causes.
I wanted something different.
DevShield behaves like an AI engineer that lives inside your application. After installing the SDK, it continuously monitors your app, detects errors, analyzes what caused them, tracks performance, and automatically generates AI-powered fixes and recommendations.
Some of the things DevShield can do today:
• 🤖 Detect runtime errors automatically
• 🛠 AI-powered bug diagnosis
• 📈 Performance monitoring
• 🌐 Multi-project dashboard
• 🔑 Simple SDK integration
• 🚀 AI activity feed showing what the system is doing
This is only the beginning. The long-term vision is an autonomous AI engineer that not only finds problems, but continuously improves software while developers focus on building new features.
I'd genuinely love your feedback. What would make an AI engineering assistant indispensable for your workflow?
Thanks for checking out DevShield!
how does it actually explain the bugs, like is it just logging error stacks or does it walk through the chain of events that led to the failure?
How much overhead does the SDK add to production builds, and does it get noisy with alerts once it starts learning what counts as a real issue vs background noise?
Plugged it into a side project last night and it flagged a memory leak I had been chasing for days, with a clear explanation of where it originated. Honestly wish I had this six months ago on a client project.
Plugged the SDK into a side project and was surprised how quickly it flagged a memory leak I'd missed for weeks. The plain-English explanations actually make sense, which is rare for monitoring tools.
Plugging in the SDK was painless, and I was honestly surprised how quickly it flagged a memory leak in a side project I'd been ignoring for weeks.
Love that DevShield just lets you drop in the SDK and go, no clunky setup eating into your sprint. That kind of "connect it and forget it" approach is exactly what monitoring tools usually get wrong.
