I'm Divyanshu, creator of **DevShelf**.
Like many developers, I’ve always relied on curated "Awesome" lists on GitHub to discover new tools, APIs, and open-source libraries. But there’s a persistent problem: **link rot**.
Within a few months, half the links break, domains get abandoned, or tools quietly replace their free tier with a paywall demanding credit cards.
I built **DevShelf** to fix this once and for all:

### What makes DevShelf different:
1. **Automated Weekly Healthchecks**: A TypeScript engine runs every Sunday via GitHub Actions, concurrently pinging every single URL. If an API dies or 404s, CI fails immediately so we can fix or delist it.
2. **Strict 0% Paywall Rule**: Only tools that are 100% open source or offer authentic perpetual free tiers (no "14-day trials" that ask for credit cards).
3. **Instant Zero-Latency UI**: Fast category filters and fuzzy search across APIs, CLI tools, AI agents, testing frameworks, and cloud tiers.
4. **Crowdsourced & Contributor-Friendly**: Anyone can submit a tool in 30 seconds via GitHub Issue forms.
We currently have 37 verified resources and 15 open "Good First Issues" for open-source newcomers!
