I built DeployOS out of frustration: my side projects cost more in Heroku/Render bills than they earned, and every "just use a VPS" tutorial ended in a 2 AM Traefik config I didn't understand.
So I built the tool I actually wanted: a native desktop app that speaks plain SSH to any $5 box and gives you the whole platform experience push-to-deploy, automatic HTTPS, databases, backups, 250+ one-click apps.
The part I'm proudest of: it's built for the deploy that fails. Wrong port? It probes the container, finds the real one, and re-routes itself. App crashed on boot? The crash log lands right in the deploy output — no SSH, no docker logs. Domain dead? A one-click Doctor runs 9 checks and tells you exactly which link broke, in plain English. No other tool at this price does all three.
