CVFit
Tailor your CV to each job without inventing experience
CVFit turns your resume into an experience knowledge graph, scores your fit for a job with cited evidence and gaps, and tailors your resume using only experience you've confirmed. You review every line. Free plan and exports; Pro US$9.99/mo.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Momin, a solo founder building CVFit from Ottawa.
Why I built it: existing resume tools were expensive (the paid monthly plans I checked ran US$24 to US$49.95), and I needed AI that understands my experience and brings out only what each job asks for. Recruiters and screening tools look for the few things that matter to each posting, and the AI shouldn't fill gaps by making things up.
What CVFit does:
Turns your resume into an experience knowledge graph: company → role → project → evidence → skill
Scores your match for a job, citing evidence from your own CV and listing the gaps
Tailors your resume using only experience you've confirmed. When something's missing, it asks you instead of guessing
Lets you accept, reject or edit every line, then export PDF, Word or Markdown for free
Who it's for: software engineers, new grads, career changers, senior engineers, and international tech pros moving to North America. It focuses on tech roles in Canada and the US, with an index of 10,000+ jobs.
Pricing: the Community plan is free, and Pro is US$9.99/mo. Every new account gets 1 month of Pro free, with no credit card or code needed. Code FREE3MONTHS gives 3 months of Pro free (then US$9.99/mo unless you cancel).
Try the free match checker, no signup needed: [cv-fit.click/tools/cv-match](https://cv-fit.click/tools/cv-match)
My question: where did the match score or a tailored bullet feel wrong for your resume? I'll be here all day.
