Hey Product Hunt 👋
I got tired of every "clean your gallery" app being a Trojan horse for ads and fake "1000 junk files found!" scare tactics. So I built the version I actually wanted to use.
Cullery is just swiping — right to keep, left to delete. Tinder for your camera roll. No ads, no bogus scans, no upsell popups every 30 seconds.
Once that worked, I kept finding clutter it couldn't catch — near-identical burst shots, low-quality photos I'd never delete one by one. So I added Smart Clean: one scan finds duplicates, bursts, and blurry shots, and you pick exactly what survives in each group. Nothing gets uploaded — it all runs on your phone.
This is a solo build, so I'd love brutally honest feedback — what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd rage-quit over. Thanks for checking it out.
Love how it runs everything locally, that was the deciding factor for me. One thing that would make it even better for me is the ability to filter by date range before I start swiping, so I could tackle my recent trip photos separately from the old stuff in storage.
Love the swipe interface and the local-only privacy angle, that sold me on it. One thing that would make it a daily habit for me is letting Smart Clean remember my preferences per category, like always keeping the highest-res burst but only the best shot from duplicate sets, so I don't have to make the same choices every time.
Would love a way to mark a few photos as "favorites" first before swiping through everything, so Smart Clean knows to never flag those for deletion even if they're old or low-detail.
finally a cleaner that doesnt feel like a guessing game. smart clean actually flagged like 400 dupes and burst shots i had no idea were sitting there, and the whole swipe flow is genuinely kind of satisfying. love that it runs offline too.
