Collectors get two bad options: chatbots that invent prices, or five point apps that each do one thing. Covet is a collector's assistant that does the work — and never invents a number — so the collector can enjoy the hobby. Snap one card or drop a thousand: identified, pre-graded, and priced from real sold listings in seconds. Up to 1,000 scans free with pre-grades on every card; 25 cards priced instantly, up to 100 after you save. Your cards, your collection, your rules.

Hey PH 👋 — founder here. Covet started because I got tired of asking LLMs what a card was worth and watching it pull numbers out of thin air. In a hobby where a slight misreading changes a $10 card into a $100 card, confident hallucination is worse than useless. So we built Covet with one hard constraint: it is programmatically blocked from making up prices and encouraged to say "no, I don't know". Every single number it gives you links directly to an actual sold listing. If we don't have enough data to prove a price, it tells you "not enough sales" instead of guessing. A shrug you can trust beats a confident fake every day of the week. Once we built the engine, we added a few things we needed for our own collections: • A fast bulk scanner: Drop in a folder, binder photos, or table shots. It IDs and vaults up to 1,000 cards in seconds. • A free pre-grader: Upload a photo and it gives you a quick breakdown of centering, corners, edges, and surface and honestly tells you when grading isn't actually worth your money. • 24/7 eBay watches: Tell it what you’re hunting and what you want to pay. It monitors listings around the clock and only pings you when a real deal hits your price target. Honest launch-week warning: It’s not perfect yet. Photos taken at weird angles in bad light will get a straight-up "couldn't spot the cards" response, and obscure Japanese vintage can still throw it off. But when it isn't sure, it admits it. That transparency is the whole core of the product. You can test it out right now without even making an account at covethq.ai. Please tear it apart and give us your most blunt feedback—you can send it directly inside the chat interface just by starting your message with "Feedback:"

Who hunted Covet?

Covet was hunted by Shiva. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
