Existing therapist directories can be overwhelming to use, and make it difficult to find the right counselor - not to mention, they are very expensive for counselors to use. We knew there was a better way, still displaying only licensed therapists while making profiles easier to filter and search through.
Filtered by state and specialty in seconds, no sign-up walls, and the listings felt straightforward without trying to upsell me on anything.
Filtering by specialty is great but a "verified availability" indicator showing which therapists are actually taking new patients this week would save so much time. Right now it feels like half the profiles lead to a waitlist, and that would help both sides of the directory.
