I built ContextHouse because I run my company from a folder of Markdown files that an AI operates with me: decisions, standards, project state, the weekly review. It started as my own second brain about four months ago and became the thing I open every morning.
What you get is that folder, set up to run itself with you. You unzip it, open it with Claude, ChatGPT, or Claude Code, and type "help me set this up." The first session takes about fifteen minutes and writes your first pages in your words, not a blank template you fill alone.
People ask why pay when free starter vaults exist. Two things they don't ship: a trust model where the AI marks its own writing with provenance and never promotes itself to "trusted," so you always know what's yours versus drafted; and a weekly loop that turns your logged wins into an anti-drift review, so the vault stays useful instead of rotting.
