ComBase helps businesses create branded customer communities, support hubs, internal forums, and partner portals with flexible content, modern UX, and hands-on setup.
Hey Product Hunt! I’m the founder of ComBase 👋
We built it because existing community platforms often felt either flexible but overly technical, or polished but limiting once you needed deeper customization.
ComBase is our attempt to combine both: a modern experience for members, flexible tools for businesses, and hands-on help with setup and migration. It can be used for customer communities, support hubs, internal spaces, and partner portals.
We’re still early and there’s plenty we want to improve, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, questions, or criticism. Thanks for checking it out!
A native mobile app would be huge, even if it's a read-first version to start. Most of our community members live on their phones and the mobile web experience just doesn't cut it for notifications and quick replies. Even something simple like push notifications for new threads would keep engagement way higher than relying on email alone.
A native mobile app would be huge for our field team to check community threads on the go without firing up a browser. The mobile web view works, but a dedicated app with push notifications for new replies and mentions would make engagement feel way more immediate.
Spent a few minutes poking around the demo and the content layout actually felt intuitive, which is rare for community tools. Setup was smoother than expected.

Who hunted ComBase?
ComBase was hunted by Michael. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
