I built Cohort because I kept noticing the same problem: group chats are great for conversation, but terrible for remembering anything.
Someone shares a great article, idea, tool, meme, or piece of research — and a few days later it’s buried under hundreds of messages.
Cohort is my attempt to create a better home for that stuff: a private shared space where a group can save links and ideas, react and discuss, search everything later, and gradually build an archive together.
One piece I’m especially excited about is what happens as that archive grows. Cohort can turn what your group has collected into structured, prompt-ready context you can bring into tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok.
But I don’t want Cohort to feel like another AI tool or another noisy social network. The goal is something calmer: a shared memory for groups that think together.
