I built this after one too many mornings of opening Codex, typing a prompt, and hitting "usage limit reached" with zero idea when I'd be able to work again.
The problem: Codex has a rolling 5-hour limit and a weekly limit, but the reset logic is invisible. OpenAI does surprise global resets (they've done 50+ of them!), announced only via scattered X posts. Everyone I know ends up asking the same question in group chats: "did Codex reset yet?"
What this does:
🎯 Verified reset history — 53 confirmed global resets since Sept 2025, each linked to the original announcement. No rumors, no fake countdowns. If the next reset isn't officially confirmed, we say so.
🔒 Personal quota tracker — paste your Codex /status output and instantly see your 5-hour and weekly remaining quota with reset countdowns. Everything is parsed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, no OpenAI login required, ever.
📊 Burn rate calculator — find out if your remaining quota will survive until the next reset, plus a "Safe Daily Budget" and a Quota Survival Score (0–100).
📸 Share cards — generate your "Codex Survival Status" card for those moments when your weekly quota is at 8% and you're not gonna make it 😭

What's deliberately NOT here: fake precision countdowns, accounts, paywalls, tracking of your OpenAI data. Your quota never leaves your device.
