I’m excited to share ClearPNG, a simple background remover for creating transparent PNGs.
I built it because I often needed a quick way to clean up small images: removing a white background from a logo, making a signature image transparent, or preparing a product photo cutout. Opening a full design editor felt too heavy for these simple jobs.
ClearPNG keeps the workflow simple:
- upload an image
- remove the background
- preview the result
- download a transparent PNG
The first version is focused on logos, signatures, product photos, and everyday images. It uses remove.bg under the hood for now, with a simple credit system for heavier use.
I’d love feedback on:
- whether the workflow feels useful
- which use case is most valuable
- what image types fail or need better handling
- whether the pricing feels clear
