I've been using Chrome for over a decade and have watched its updates over time. I plan to continue using it.
Very curious how this will impact Perplexity Comet; where will the Chromium project end and Google's Gemini AI services begin? Will Chromium offer pluggable APIs to connect to local LLMs for example?
Gemini Nano's on-device scam detection is slick, but wonder about the accuracy trade-offs after model compression. Browser-side ML inference gotta be extremely latency-sensitive, no?
