I was frustrated with gas prices, and the lack of a tool for finding not just gas prices around me, but the best one to go to. An app that not only shows you the gas prices, but tells you which one is the most economical. I also wanted it to be easy to use and free of distractions, so I made it ad-free forever.
Love that it accounts for the drive itself instead of just listing sticker prices. That's the kind of UX thinking that actually saves people money, not just the illusion of it.
Finally a tool that factors in the drive, such a simple idea but genuinely useful. I plugged in my regular route and realized the closer station saved me a few bucks a week.
How do you actually calculate the cost of the drive, is it based on my car model or do I input my own mpg?
Does it factor in real-time traffic or just straight-line distance when calculating the true cost of getting to a station?
How does it know my actual fuel efficiency to factor that in, and does it just plug into my phone's GPS while driving or do I have to enter my car manually?
