Hey PH! This is really a product that I started for myself, but I thought I would share it to get some feedback. For as much negative press r/wallstreebets gets, I've actually found it to be a pretty good place to screen for stock ideas. I've gotten pretty lucky with picks like FNMA (bought at $2.50, now around ~$10), ACHR (bought at around $6, sold at $9), and CAPR (bought at $6.50, sold at $13). The biggest problem with using r/wallstreetbets is separating the bad pitches from the good ones and keeping track of everything. Once I read an investment thesis from the subreddit that seems interesting, I usually look at the performance history of the OP, then do my own research on other sources. I've made a tool to just make that first part of the research process much easier. The project is completely free, but you do need to create an account to keep track of posts or redditors. It does cost a little bit to keep the site running and use the OpenAI API, so any donations are always appreciated! Let me know what you think!

Wow, I've been waiting for a tool like this for a while. It's one thing to read a compelling thesis on r/wallstreetbets, but it's another to actually vet the person behind it.

What I really like is the ability to quickly check a redditor's track record, which saves a ton of time on initial screening. This is definitely going to be my first stop before I even think about doing a deeper dive on a ticker I see mentioned there.

Hey @gavin_cho, congrats on launching Chatter! 🚀 Your approach to dual search functionality—allowing users to track both specific stock tickers and individual Reddit users' performance—is brilliant. I really appreciate how it solves the problem of identifying credible retail investors on r/wallstreetbets. Excited to see where you take this next. Best of luck with today's launch!

Chatter gives market impacts from Reddit! Just curious how accurate is Redditor investors average level lol

I've always felt that for all the memes, there are some genuinely insightful users on WSB, but it's impossible to remember who they are or if their past calls were just luck.

The ability to track a specific redditor's accuracy over time is exactly what I've needed. It moves the discussion from pure hype to a bit more accountability.

This is actually a smart use case, cutting through the noise on r/wallstreetbets is no joke 😂. Love that it tracks user accuracy over time too, that’s gold for pattern spotting. Do you plan to add sentiment analysis or maybe other subs like r/investing later on?

I like how it will find a specific user. Do you use the Reddit's API for that?

Who hunted Chatter?

Chatter was hunted by Gavin Cho. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
