Chathead Notes turns your notes into floating bubbles, just like Messenger chat heads. Tap a note's icon to turn it into a bubble which can hover over your apps so you never have to leave your browser, video, or research to jot something down. Drag it, minimize it, switch between multiple notes at once. Everything saves automatically as you type. Perfect for studying, researching, or capturing quick thoughts without breaking your flow.

I used to use messenger as a notes app just so I could turn them into chat heads and keep notes floating on my screen while I studied or browsed. It worked, but since I could only chat myself I was stuck with one giant, messy note. So I built the real version. Chathead Notes turns your actual notes into floating bubbles, just like Messenger chat heads, except now you can have as many separate notes as you want, each with its own bubble, organized instead of crammed into one endless chat. Enable chatheads, then tap a note's icon and click the expand button, it's now a bubble you can keep on top of whatever app you're using. No more messaging yourself just to get a floating sticky note. Forgive me for saying the word "note" a thousand times. This is my first-ever app, so I'd love to hear what you think. What's a feature you'd want to see next?

Pulled it up while watching a lecture and the bubble just sat there in the corner, super handy for jotting quick thoughts without losing the video. The autosave is a nice touch too.

Love how the bubble actually follows you across apps instead of just sitting in one window, such a thoughtful detail for anyone juggling research and video at the same time.

The floating bubble idea is genuinely useful, especially when I'm in the middle of reading something and need to capture a thought without losing my place. The drag-to-reposition feels natural and the autosave works smoothly so far.

Dragging a note over a YouTube video while typing works surprisingly smooth, and the bubble actually stays put when you alt-tab back. The auto-save is a nice touch too.

Does the bubble stay visible across all apps or just within the browser, and what happens if I accidentally tap and drag it off screen?

How does it handle the bubbles when you switch between different apps or desktops — do they follow you everywhere or only stay within the browser window?

Does the bubble stay visible when you switch between different apps or only within the browser?

The chat head metaphor is such a clever fit for floating notes, feels way more natural than another sidebar or widget setup. Love that autosave happens as you type too, no friction at all.
