Great to see a native Android app coming, having seen the iOS version released early. Interesting to see how useful it may be over just using the web version.
I can't wait to try OpenAI's original ChatGPT Android app! In the meantime, big kudos to all the other developers who've been bringing ChatGPT to our phones long before this. Their hard work and dedication shouldn't go unnoticed. As we wait for the official app, let's not forget to check out the WiseTalk and other fantastic apps already out there. I hope OpenAI will keep the API open, allowing us all to continue enjoying the benefits of this technology.

Could someone please explain how/why this is more useful than just using a shortcut to the web page? I assume that login-persistence would be the biggy, but anything else?
From what I recall on iOS, the GPT4 on mobile was a slightly nerfed version from the regular version :(
