I built CAPTA around a simple idea: a great fishing spot is much more than a pair of GPS coordinates.
I wanted one place where anglers could keep their spots private, return to them precisely, and understand the conditions that made a fishing day work — even years later.
That idea grew into CAPTA: private waypoints, GPS navigation, offline maps, marine forecasts, tides, fishing activity, biological potential, and historical conditions connected to your catches.
CAPTA is already available on iOS and Android, but there’s still a lot I want to improve.
