Calor is a focused iOS app for tracking your daily calories. See active and resting energy at a glance. Follow your progress and dive deeper into your data anytime.
Hey, I'm Javi, creator of Calor.
I got tired of every calorie app asking for an account before showing me anything or paywalling the basics behind a subscription. I just wanted to see how many calories I burned today, this week, this month.
So I built something that reads directly from Apple Health and gets out of the way. No account, no servers, no data leaving your phone. Just your numbers.
The part I spent the most time on was making it feel good to open. Small things, background effects with metal shaders, transitions, customization... Not because it matters for the core function, but because you open this thing every day and it should feel like it belongs on your phone.
Would love to hear what you think.
Looks like a really aesthetic and visually impressive app! Can I ask, does it help you work out your calorie intake, or do users need to do that part themselves? Congrats on the launch!
Mindful eating as a practice is specifically about moving away from calorie tracking toward body cues. So, how is tracking calories/energy the mindful approach here? Is it mindful of describing the philosophy or just the feel of the app?

Who hunted Calor?
Calor was hunted by Javi San. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
