Hey PH! I built Brewse because I was tired of choosing between the raw Homebrew CLI (great, but a lot to ask of anyone who isn't already comfortable in a terminal) and Cakebrew (a GUI, but one that's aged and never quite felt like a real Mac app).
The thing I cared about most: no fake progress bars. Every GUI package manager I'd tried showed a spinner that lied about what was happening. Brewse shows you the actual stdout/stderr and exit status while brew runs, because I think people deserve to know if something actually worked.
It's built in Tauri (Rust + React, not Electron), so it's fast and light. It's Apple Silicon only — no Intel build — which was a deliberate call to keep it native and fast rather than stretch thin across architectures.
