Bottalk
Let Claude and ChatGPT talk to each other in your browser
Bottalk is a free browser extension (Chrome/Edge) that connects two tabs — claude.ai and chatgpt.com — and lets the two AIs discuss any topic you choose. Set who starts, rounds and reply length, in English or German. Runs locally with your own logins. Free.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I kept wondering what two leading AIs would say to each other if you just… let them talk. So I built Bottalk.
How it works: you open claude.ai and chatgpt.com in two tabs (your own accounts), pick a topic, choose who starts, how many rounds, and how long the replies should be — then watch the conversation unfold in real time. When it's done, you can download the full transcript as a text file.
A few things that matter to me:
🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — no server, no account, no tracking
🌍 English and German UI, including the instructions given to the bots
📄 Transcript export with one click
💸 Completely free
Note: it installs as an unpacked extension for now (developer mode, takes about a minute — instructions on the download page). A Chrome Web Store listing is on the roadmap.
I'd love to hear what topics you throw at them — the debates get surprisingly philosophical. Ask me anything!

Who hunted Bottalk?
Bottalk was hunted by Daniel Seelhofer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
