I'm Xavi, a solo dev from Spain, and Betsy is my first real project.
It started from a dumb problem: every match, my friends and I would argue about who "totally called it." Everyone's a genius after the game. Nobody could prove anything.
So I built the thing I wanted to exist:

The key part: it's all virtual points. Zero real money. No deposits, no losses, no legal mess. Just the thrill of betting and the bragging rights of a fantasy league, minus the part that empties your wallet.

honestly the 1v1 arena is a clever twist, made my group chat way more competitive without anyone risking cash. just wish the league invites were easier to find
