BendMac is a free, open-source macOS app that makes your desktop bend and blur as you close your MacBook lid. Inspired by Bendy, it offers an MIT-licensed implementation that anyone can inspect, modify, and contribute to.
The project has reached at least 80 GitHub stars and 1078 release downloads!
It’s a small project I am working on when I get out of school. It's contribution is a freely available native Mac app and a practical example of working with lid-angle sensors, screen capture, and GPU rendering.
