Hey PH! I'm the maker of BankSheet.
The idea came from watching bookkeepers re-type statement numbers into Excel — then hunt for the one cell they mistyped. Here's the thing I couldn't stop thinking about: a bank statement carries its own proof. Balances chain row by row, and they must add up. So I built a converter that checks that math on every row and flags exactly which cell broke the chain before you export.
What it does today:
- Chase / BofA / Wells Fargo / Citi / Amex statements → XLSX, CSV, QBO, OFX
- Reconciliation proof on every export (an actual math check, not a marketing claim)
- One-click fix for the most common error (swapped amount/balance columns)
- Files auto-delete in 24h; nothing goes to third-party AI models
Honest limitations: it's beta, digital PDFs only (no scanned paper yet), and the first request after idle can take ~30s to wake up. Every correction you make in the review screen teaches the parser your bank's layout.
Free during beta, no credit card. Break it and tell me what your bank's statement does that we don't handle — that's literally what the beta is for.
