I'm the maker of Subscription Auditor.
I built this app because I was tired of "subscription creep" (forgotten free trials, shared family plans where friends forget to pay me back, and small bills that add up).
When I looked at existing trackers, they all wanted me to link my bank account via Plaid or create a cloud account. I didn't want my financial data sitting on someone else's servers.
So, I built a local-first alternative. Auditor encrypts your database on your phone and calculates the long-term compounding cost of subscriptions (e.g. what a $10/month service actually costs you over 10 years). It also has a local "Nag Engine" that alerts you before free trials auto-renew, respecting your quiet hours.
The app is completely free for up to 10 active subscriptions, and has no pop-up ads during your workflow.

The time-shifted nag levels around sleep hours is such a thoughtful touch, especially the way it escalates instead of just repeating the same alert. Love that it stays local and offline too.
Local encryption is a nice touch, and the Trial Storm nag levels actually make me laugh. I will probably use the cumulative cost view more than anything else.
the nag level system is honestly pretty clever, especially the sleep hours bit which sounds like something i actually need. apk is a bit small but it loads instantly so no complaints there.
Tried it for a weekend and the reality check feature genuinely made me cancel a gym membership I kept forgetting about. Love that everything stays on my device.
Love the offline-first approach with AES-256 encryption, that immediately earned my trust. One thing that would make Auditor a daily habit for me: a small annual "subscription audit summary" I could glance at showing what I kept, cancelled, and saved over the year. Something I could actually show a partner or roommate too.
The reality check on my old streaming subscriptions actually hurt a little, but in a good way. Local encryption is a nice touch, though I wish the trial nag was a bit less aggressive at level 4.
