Attesté
Strava for Art — an AI companion for your collection
Atteste is Strava for Art — a mobile-first collection app with a built-in AI companion (Atelier), a genuine free tier, and provenance recorded at creation. Photograph any work and Atelier names the artist, medium and period, then seals it with a tamper-evident, Bitcoin-anchorable certificate. First Witness lets artists record a work's story at the moment of creation. iOS, Android & web. Free tier, no card; paid from $9.99/mo.
Hi PH 👋 I built Attesté because documenting an art collection still means spreadsheets and shoeboxes. Point your phone at a work and Atelier — a voice + camera AI — tells you the artist, medium and period, then files it with a tamper-evident, Bitcoin-anchorable provenance record. Artists can record a work's story in their own voice at the moment of creation (we call it First Witness). There's a real free tier — no card. On iOS, Android and web. Would love your feedback, especially from collectors and working artists.
Love the First Witness idea, would be great if Atelier could also let users upload a short voice note describing the work right after snapping the photo. Sometimes the story of a piece comes through better spoken than typed, especially while hands are covered in paint.
pointed my camera at a random canvas at a local gallery and it actually pulled the artist's name and medium, which was kind of wild. the first witness thing feels like a really thoughtful way to lock in provenance before anything gets murky.
Took a few photos of pieces in my apartment and the AI nailed a small watercolor I bought years ago, even guessed the period. Love that the certificate feels actually tamper-resistant, not just a screenshot.
The First Witness idea of recording provenance right at creation is genuinely clever, and snapping a photo to get artist and medium back felt almost magical when it nailed a piece I had hanging at home.
love that you're keeping provenance tied to the moment of creation rather than retroactively. most art apps treat history like an afterthought, so seeing First Witness baked into the core flow is a really thoughtful call.

Who hunted Attesté?
Attesté was hunted by Charl Le Roux. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
