Hi everyone. I'm Aadesh, and AttendKit is a solo project.
This started because a friend who teaches was screenshotting her Google Meet tile grid every
morning and typing names into a spreadsheet afterwards. I assumed she'd missed a setting.
She hadn't. Google does have Meet attendance reports, but they start at Business Plus. Her
school is on Education Fundamentals. There was no setting to find.
What I kept running into after that was that even the trackers which do exist mostly answer
one question: was this person in the call, yes or no. That was never the question she had.
She needed to know that a student joined at 10:41 for a class that started at 10:00 and left
at 10:52. So the thing I built the product around is the attendance percentage: for each
person, what share of the meeting they were actually present for, with the full join and
rejoin timeline behind it if you want to check the number.
The free tier is your first 30 meetings, as a one-time allowance rather than a monthly
reset. That's enough to run a few weeks of classes or a full training cycle and decide
honestly whether it's worth paying for. Only names and timestamps are
stored. No recording, no transcription, no audio.
