The idea began with a simple thought: the night sky is shared by everyone, yet the memories and emotions we attach to it usually disappear.
I wanted to create a place where the sky could remember.

Star names are reviewed before appearing in the shared sky. To be completely transparent, these names exist only inside Astar’s community catalog. They are not recognized by the International Astronomical Union or any scientific organization, and no celestial object is being sold.
In our first version, naming stars on your personal star map is free.
