artbase
An art community where your work actually gets seen
Most places to post art are either dead, buried under an algorithm that buries you, or built for a different kind of content entirely. artbase is just for art. Post your work, build a gallery, follow other artists, and get seen by people who came here to look at art. Independent, Australian, built and run by one person. Free, with an optional Pro tier.
I got sick of posting art into feeds that were obviously built for something other than showing people art. So I made artbase.
It's a community and portfolio platform. Post your work, build a gallery, follow other artists. There's also Daily Draw, which is a new prompt every day plus a gallery of what everyone made with it. That's probably the easiest place to start if you're just having a look.
Solo project, Australian. Free, with a Pro tier if you want it. Ask me anything.

Who hunted artbase?
artbase was hunted by Matt. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
