One thing that would really help is a browser extension that flags shadow AI tools in real time as people use them, not just after the fact in a dashboard. Would make the gap between discovering and governing way shorter.
Finally an AI governance tool that doesn't just throw up a wall of alerts. Setting up behavior rules for shadow AI use was actually straightforward, and I was surprised how quickly it flagged a few unsanctioned tools we had floating around.
