Anthora is for photos and videos already sitting in folders: an external drive, a collection of scans, exported phone photos or years of screenshots. Add a folder, browse the gallery, and search filenames, dates or text inside images. Your media stays local.
You can try it with 500 items for free, with no account or time limit. The $29 one-time license unlocks larger libraries and cleanup on two Macs. Duplicate removal is something you review; items removed through Anthora go to a 30-day recovery area. Keep a separate backup.
A few limits to know before downloading: it needs an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. It doesn't open Apple Photos libraries directly, download iCloud photos or provide an iPhone app. This release isn't Apple-notarized, so there's a documented one-time Open confirmation during installation. License activation needs the internet; ordinary library use works offline afterward.
