Aha helps you practice that step, using something you actually want to say.
Here’s how it works:
1. Write a draft in your own language.
2. Aha turns it into short segments to practice in the language you’re learning.
3. Try writing each segment yourself. Get a word hint when you’re stuck, then check your attempt for word-by-word feedback.
4. Put what you wrote back into the original text box.
You can use it for an email, a message, or a comment you want to post. The practice starts with your own thoughts, and happens right in your browser.
Aha supports 18 learning languages. It also offers bilingual reading, vocabulary and grammar explanations, and an AI sidebar where you can ask follow-up questions about the sentence you’re reading.
The goal is to help you move from recognizing words to using them yourself—with support along the way.
It works in Chrome and Edge, and there’s a free plan.
