I'm Egor — one of two people behind Agent Nine.
We built it out of a personal itch: every AI agent we liked either lived inside a desktop IDE, or ran in a cloud sandbox we had to upload our whole repo to — and none of them worked when we were away from the keyboard. We wanted an agent that runs on our own machine (so our code and keys never leave), and that we can actually drive from a phone on the train.
So Agent Nine has two faces:
a desktop app where the agent runs locally with your permissions — your secrets stay home;
a web app that works for real on mobile — full agent, not a chatbox.
Same integrations, same Claude-powered brain, everywhere.

Finally an AI agent that doesn't want to ship my entire repo to some random cloud. Ran a quick Linear ticket task from my phone while away from my desk and it actually finished the job.
