Keep selected scores in view while browsing. Sports Score HUD adds a compact, movable overlay with live, upcoming, and optionally completed games.
**Getting Started**
1. Install the extension and pin it from your extension menu for easy access.
2. Click the extension icon, choose the leagues and favorite teams you want to follow, and save the initial setup.
3. Click the icon on a supported webpage to open or close the movable score HUD. Protected pages use the built-in toolbar scoreboard instead.
4. Open Settings to adjust refresh timing, completed-game visibility, favorite behavior, domain access, appearance, and toolbar badge preferences.

**Data & Permissions**
- Public score and standings data is retrieved from ESPN services; availability and fields can change.
- Public baseball schedule data supplies official per-game fallback links where available.
- `storage` remembers leagues, favorites, layout, visibility, standings cache, and domain rules.
- `alarms` performs periodic score refreshes.
- `contextMenus` supplies toolbar actions, Settings, Ko-fi, and Donate.
- Website access displays the optional HUD and applies user-defined domain rules. It does not inspect or transmit page content.

- **Restored Click Preference:** Choose either the movable page HUD with protected-page fallback or the complete toolbar scoreboard. The setting applies immediately and remains part of exported backups.
- **Complete Team Picker Recovery:** League browsing and global search use layered team, standings, core-discovery, and cache sources without deleting favorites or unrelated settings.
- **Readable Badge Marquee:** The normal extension icon remains visible; compact values such as `945`, `1240`, and `5-4` stay still, while genuinely wide scores scroll with the full value retained in the tooltip.
- **Deterministic HUD Toggle:** Page-HUD clicks now show or hide the HUD with exactly one mutating toggle, while dropdown mode retains native show/hide behavior without flashing its scoreboard during HUD probes.
- **Viewport and Protected-Page Recovery:** Off-screen HUD positions are brought back into view, while pages that cannot host the HUD retain the built-in toolbar scoreboard.
- **True Today-Favorite Pinning:** Every favorite game scheduled today stays above unrelated games across score views without duplicate cards; toolbar notices appear only for genuine fallback conditions.
