That's exactly what I thought, too. But the more I looked at standard speed tests, the more I noticed how bloated they've become. Most take 30 to 60 seconds to complete, load heavy frameworks, include trackers, or only test against a single network.
I built 7-Secs to strip all of that away and focus purely on performance and minimal design.
