xAgent
Self-hosted AI agents for real work
xAgent is a self-hosted, multi-user AI agent portal for teams that need work completed, not just chats. Run it on your own server, prepare shared Skills, Tools, MCP services, connectors, approval policies, and isolated workspaces, then let users submit tasks through the web UI or IM. The free beta supports up to five users and keeps all data in a fully private deployment. It includes WeChat and Telegram connectors.
Hi Product Hunt! I built xAgent for teams that want to run task-oriented AI agents in their own environment.
The problem I kept seeing was that deploying an agent often meant every user still had to configure models, tools, prompts, and integrations. xAgent moves that setup to a server: administrators prepare shared agents, Skills, Tools, MCP services, connectors, approval policies, and isolated workspaces; users can then focus on describing a task and reviewing the result.
The current v0.0.3.beta release runs on macOS and Linux. It is a free binary beta, not a hosted SaaS. The latest connector release includes WeChat and Telegram.
I would especially value feedback on self-hosted deployment, long-running task workflows, and the Connector/MCP boundary.
