Hey Product Hunt One day I counted my own AI news sources. Five English-language sites, plus whatever the algorithm decided to put in front of me. That was it. That surprised me. I thought I was following AI closely. What I was actually following was one small, very loud corner of it - and I hadn't noticed, because that corner never stops talking. The rest of the world is not quiet. China, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Germany, India, France - researchers, founders and regulators there are moving fast and writing about it in their own languages. I simply never saw any of it. Not because it was hidden, but because of a language wall and the friction of opening ten sites a day. World AI Reader is my attempt to take that wall down. WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES FOR YOU You get one list. Every morning, the AI stories from the sources you chose - wherever on earth they're published - sitting there already translated into your language. Nothing to sort. Nothing to skip past. Three things make that work: 1. The whole world, one feed. Paste a site URL and it finds the RSS for you. No feed URL hunting. If you want a starting set, the app hands you a prompt to give ChatGPT or Gemini, and you paste the resulting list back in - 20 sources from 20 countries in about a minute. 2. Translation that happens on your phone. Headlines are translated by an on-device AI. Your reading history never leaves your device - not to me, not to a translation server, not to anyone. I have no idea what you read, and I like it that way. On newer iPhones, long-press any headline to retranslate it with Apple Intelligence when the quick translation isn't good enough. Tap through and the full article page gets translated too. 3. Only AI. Actually only AI. General news sites publish sports, weather and politics on the same feed. Those get filtered out after translation, so a Japanese or Portuguese article about a new model surfaces just as reliably as an English one. You open the app and every single item is on-topic. Free. No subscription. No account. 13 interface languages. WHY I THINK THIS MATTERS There's a quiet assumption in our industry that if something important happens in AI, it'll reach us in English within a day. Mostly true for big lab announcements. Much less true for regulation, funding, local deployment, public backlash, and the way ordinary people in other countries are actually reacting to this technology. That's the part I was missing entirely. I'd genuinely like to hear: - What's one AI source outside the English-speaking world you think more people should be reading?
