Hi Product Hunt! Words Tower helps families turn this week’s spelling list into a little daily adventure.
Paste the words, set the test date, and climb a tower: listen to a word, find its door, and practise the spellings that need more work. Parents can print tracing and writing sheets, followed by a home spelling test.
There are 1,000 built-in English words, Dolch and Fry reading lists, and translation hints for Russian, German, French and Spanish-speaking families. Built-in vocabulary and translations use AI-generated voice recordings.
The challenge is remembering words, not quick reflexes. Play in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer. It is free, with no ads or sign-up; progress stays in the browser on your device.
A few limits: 214 vocabulary words have illustrations, so the larger sets suit children who already read. Custom lists may need pictures added by a parent. Progress does not sync between devices. This launch is for the web game; Chrome Web Store availability has not yet been confirmed.
