WolfWeb
A free, open-source browser that runs Chrome extensions
WolfWeb is a free, open-source browser for Linux, Windows and Mac. Chromium underneath, so it runs Chrome extensions. A home page with your speed dial, a daily newspaper made from your interests, pinned tabs that stay, quick commands and gestures.
WolfWeb is the browser we wanted for ourselves: Chromium underneath, so your Chrome extensions and sites just work, with the things we kept adding by hand built in.
• A home page with your speed dial and the background you pick in Chrome's own Customise panel
• The WolfWeb Daily: a newspaper made each morning from your interests and the news for your own country, and it prints properly on A4
• Pinned tabs that stay: they come back every time, and a bookmark clicked in one opens a new tab instead of replacing it
• Quick commands (Ctrl+Shift+Space) and mouse gestures (hold Alt and drag)
• On Linux: H.264 video, a classic File/Edit/View menu bar, and a status bar below the page
It's free and open source (GPL-3.0), and it doesn't send anything to us. Linux is where it's most tested; the Windows and Mac versions are new and don't have the H.264 video or the menu bar yet. It's the partner to WolfMail, our free email app.
I'd love your honest feedback, and I'm here to answer anything.

Who hunted WolfWeb?
WolfWeb was hunted by Paul Clevett. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
