Hi, Product Hunt! I’m Eden. I am part of the small team that makes Week. Today I’m happy to introduce a new version of Week. Let me tell you about new features since the last launch: - Multiple time slots for a task We have noticed that certain tasks cannot be completed in one go. Sometimes a task is excessively difficult or time-consuming, and at times it becomes necessary to take a break or switch to another important activity. That is why we have revamped half of the app, enabling you to plan a single task multiple times as needed. Previously, you had to duplicate a task, but that was merely a workaround. Just imagine having to maintain a single note for all instances of your task duplicated task! - Time boxes With time boxes, you can mark an area on your calendar for an activity in the future, even if you don't know what particular tasks you're going to do. It allows you to indicate the intention and plan your day in broad strokes. But we didn't stop there. We've implemented a system that allows you to plan tasks for these time boxes automatically. The system will choose the most important tasks and move them to the calendar, avoiding conflicts with existing tasks and meetings. This system is still in beta, so we're looking for your feedback. In the future, time boxes will be even better: we're planning to show the difference between the time you wanted to spend working and the time you actually spent and many more other things. - Statuses Most task managers have only two statuses for tasks: not started and completed. We have decided to allow people to mark tasks as planned or cancelled. This way, it is easier to see the number of tasks in progress at the moment. - Time Tracking People use calendars differently and some prefer not to plan a lot of tasks in advance, but to track time it took to complete these tasks. We have added a time tracker for these people. You can drop a task on a tracker to start the tracking and press the stop button to finish working on the task. - Tasks grouping Yes, it really took us three years to implement this. This is such a useful feature. I can't understand how I could live without it. Now you can group tasks on the My Day page by priority or project. That makes it so much easier to maintain work-life balance or concentrate on important tasks. - Command bar v2 We have improved command bar experience. It looks a little bit better and allows you to search for tasks with just a hit of CMD + K shortcut. - Statistics v2 We improved statistics screen, so you could measure your productivity with numbers and charts. Now you can see all you time records on a single year graph. It is also possible to select a project from the sidebar and check the graph just for this project.
