I dictate everything. Voice notes, emails, WhatsApp - I think a lot faster than I type. But every dictation tool I liked was Mac-and-iPhone only, and the ones that ran on my phone handed me a wall of "um, so, like" that I had to clean up by hand anyway.
So I built Voxly for the two things I actually use: Android and Windows.
Two things I haven't found anywhere else:
→ You can give it instructions while you talk. Ramble your message, then finish with "hey Voxly, make this sound professional, it's for a job application." It rewrites it, and the instruction never shows up in the text.
→ It knows where you're writing. Formal in email, casual in WhatsApp. You set the tone per app once and it adapts on its own.
On privacy, because someone always asks: only the audio you dictate is sent to be transcribed, and it's discarded right after. Your dictation history stays on your device. Voxly never reads your screen, and it's blocked from banking apps by the system.
Free is 1,200 words a day — genuinely enough for daily use, no card needed. Pro is $14.99/mo for 50,000.
