I built this because I’m a travel nerd who wanted a beautiful way to visualize my flight history without the typical "privacy tax." Most tools today force you to create an account and hand over years of sensitive travel patterns to a permanent database just to see a map. I wanted a premium alternative that feels like a professional utility rather than a data collection engine.
Privacy is the core of the product, not an afterthought. Flightmaps is entirely session based; all flight data is processed in-memory and never saved to a disk or database. Once you close your browser tab, the data is gone. No tracking, no signups, and no "signup walls". Also its completely free to use!
