Verzio

Update all your Mac apps in one place with AI changelogs

Tired of checking Terminal for Homebrew, the App Store for its apps, waiting for Sparkle pop-ups or manually checking a GitHub repo? Verzio brings every update source into one native macOS dashboard. It supports Homebrew, App Store, Sparkle, Electron, and GitHub Releases. AI-powered summaries turn cryptic changelogs into clear, one-sentence briefs so you know what actually changed. Free tier included. Zero telemetry. Everything runs locally on your Mac. Built with SwiftUI, as you'd expect it.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! I built Verzio because updating Mac apps was a mess: Homebrew in Terminal, App Store in its own window, Sparkle pop-ups interrupting my flow. When MacUpdater shut down in January 2026, I knew there had to be a better way. Verzio scans your Mac and finds every installed app across all sources. The AI feature reads changelogs and tells you "fixes a critical security crash" instead of "general bug fixes." It even searches the web for release notes when developers don't include them. If you want zero-touch, you can schedule your updates and the install of the apps in separated tasks too, so all happens in the background. Verzio is also service aware, in case you install a formulae, the service that depended on that will automatically restart. A few things I care about: - Zero telemetry. No analytics in the app. Your data stays on your Mac. - Free tier with real features, not a crippled trial. - Native SwiftUI -no Electron, no web views. Available in English, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese. Built in the Netherlands. I'd love your feedback .what update sources would you want to see next?

Who hunted Verzio?

Verzio was hunted by João Michel Pellizzer.
