vagejs

The Static Site Generator for AI Website Development

A free, open-source static site generator that turns simple text files into fast, search-friendly websites, built to work with AI coding assistants.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built vagejs because AI coding assistants are good at writing pages but bad at noticing what they broke: dead links, missing meta tags, accessibility gaps. vagejs is a free, MIT-licensed static site generator: you (or Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot) write Markdown, and vage check catches problems before anything goes live. SEO files, llms.txt, and safe deploys to GitHub Pages, Cloudflare or Netlify are built in, and there's a local browser editor if you prefer forms to files.

Try it: npm create vagejs@latest my-site

It's pre-1.0, so I'd love feedback on two things: what broke when you tried it, and which checks you'd want added.
