We are ten software engineers in Tbilisi. Every project we ran meant Postgres on one platform, S3 on another, the frontend on a third, the backend on a fourth, and only two of us could untangle it when something broke. So we built the thing we wanted: one machine per project, with the database, storage, backend, frontend, cron, previews, domains and backups already there, and one flat bill.
What it is: push a GitHub repo, get a running app with Postgres, Redis and S3 as addons. $10/vCPU + $5/GB RAM per machine, no egress or seat fees. Our own bare metal in Germany. Every CLI command has --json and there is a built-in MCP server, so your coding agent can run the whole lifecycle.
What it is not (yet): no US region (Q4), no SOC 2 (2027), nightly dumps instead of point-in-time recovery. If your product is a Next.js site, Vercel is the better tool and we will say so.
We are bad at marketing and decided to be honest instead. We even run part of the company with an AI agent in public, every step logged at runbyagents.usectl.com.
