For those unfamiliar with Univerbal, it’s an AI language learning app that’s like having your own private tutor. Our main focus for this overhaul was putting the language learner in the driver's seat. Additionally, we put a lot of effort into balancing what learners are keen to talk about with what educators know are the most beneficial language skills to focus on at any level.

We worked hard together with language educators from the University of Zurich to find a way to create a curriculum that focuses on what the student wants to learn AND what's the most important language skill (from a didactic point of view) to learn at any given time.
