The thing that got me here: every "free" image converter I used still routes your file through a server before handing it back. That's fine for stock photos, less fine for client work, ID scans, or anything you're not thrilled about sitting in someone's S3 bucket "temporarily."
So Under1MB does zero backend processing — literally none. It's convert/compress/resize running on your browser's own image decoder, which means there's nothing to upload and nothing for me to log even if I wanted to. Drop in a file, watch your Network tab, see it never fire.
