Hi Product Hunt, I'm Will, the maker of TuftPlan. A handmade rug is more than its yarn bill. There are materials, hours of work and a margin to consider before you can confidently quote a price. TuftPlan brings those pieces together in one practical iPhone and iPad app. Start with a design and rug dimensions, adjust the colour split, and estimate the yarn and skeins you need. Add material costs, labour and margin to get a suggested selling price. After finishing a rug, record actual yarn usage to refine future estimates. The current app is free, with unlimited projects, offline planning and no account required. Your project records stay on your device. Estimates are a starting point, not a guarantee: your yarn and tufting technique still matter.
